In my 20's I was a DJ at the college radio station. I absolutely loved it, although I hardly knew what I was doing. I committed to doing radio one day. Then, when I lived in Los Angeles, I was the vocal producer for a talk show featuring a comedian, and I fell in love with it again. It's the structuring of the story that I love, the banter and the interview. I decided to start my own podcast in 2020, mostly to experiment and see what I could create. From episode one to episode 23 you will notice quite the evolution. I want to tell the stories of people whose stories don't always get told.

The podcast, Just Say It, features individuals who are making a difference on the social landscape. This particular episode featured a local Bay Area Activist who has been fighting for human rights most of her life. She also just authored a memoir based on beginning the Olivia Record Label in her twenties. This in the height of Feminism. This episode aimed to draw attention to her new book online, alongside other marketing efforts.
The episode was recorded shortly after the murder of George Floyd.
